Summary An estate agent’s reciprocal sub-agency agreement may be used by two estate agents who want to grant each other reciprocal authority and permission to market and sell properties listed by the other agent, in exchange for a share in the commission.

Who should use an Estate Agency’s Reciprocal Sub-Agent Authority? An estate agent who has been authorised by a seller to sell a property may use this template Sub-Agency Agreement to authorise another agent to introduce prospective buyers to the property. This agency agreement is reciprocal, whereby both estate agents may introduce prospective buyers to properties being sold by the other agent, for an agreed commission.

What does the Agreement say? The Reciprocal Sub-Agent Authority and Agreement identifies the property/ies being sold, and sets out the commission structure and basis on which commission will be paid to the sub-agent.
